The Double-headed Eagle squad celebrated qualification from the UEFA Europa Conference League group stage on Thursday night (09.11), keeping the lead for first place in the group. The switch has been flipped immediately though, and now everyone’s attention turns to the game against Panetolikos.

Friday’s (10.11) training session was conducted in two phases in Nea Mesimvria. The players who were in the starting line-up against Aberdeen followed a recovery and rehabilitation program on the training pitch, in the swimming pool and in the gym. The rest of the squad went out on to the pitch and worked on tactical aspects, while they also played a friendly match in the final part of the session.

Razvan Lucescu can’t count on the suspended Taison and Baba for the upcoming match. The Ghanaian, who left the field on Thursday with some discomfort in his right thigh, underwent some physio treatment and will undergo an MRI tomorrow to determine the extent of the problem he is facing.

On Saturday (11.11) PAOK will train at 17:45 in Nea Mesimvria.
