Petros Tsiapakidis’ team took the lead in the 22nd minute with Kalaitsidis‘ placed effort following a fine piece of individual play by Kalogiros’ turn. The home team equalized in the 72nd minute, but in the 88th minute Gitersos produced a superb finish from Vryzas’ assist for PAOK to leave Renti with a pleasing victory, holding firm in eight minutes of stoppage time, even missing opportunities to score a third goal.
