Christos Karipidis is a UEFA MIP graduate
PAOK stakeholders are constantly trying to expand their horizons, to acquire knowledge and expertise, and to contribute to helping the club achieve the highest level possible that it always aims for. In this context, we are happy to announce that Christos Karipidis, PAOK’s football director, has graduated from the UEFA MIP program.
The professional path of a football player after the end of their career is an issue that concerns every athlete. UEFA helps former international players to train and continue at the highest level, from a different position, even from off the pitch.
Through the MIP (Master for International Players) program, UEFA offers the necessary knowledge in order for former players to continue to be active, and through their experience, to help improve the sport itself.
Christos Karipidis, together with 29 other world-renowned players, such as Nemanja Vidic, Sami Khedira and Hamit Altintop, but also our old friend Razvan Rat, in the previous 20 months has been studying with UEFA and undertaking a long cycle of tasks and courses, in order to have all the necessary means at his disposal for an administrative position at a football club.
This long journey of knowledge came to an end today and the former players received their diplomas, while also having the opportunity to speak with UEFA president Aleksandar Ceferin, who spoke to them about the importance of contributing to the sport.
