Under-19s defeated by Panathinaikos
PAOK’s Under-19 side slipped to a second consecutive defeat after going down 2-1 to Panathinaikos in Athens on Matchday 7 of the Super League.
The Double-headed Eagle youngsters started the match slowly and were punished, conceding an early goal after just four minutes from the penalty spot, and in the 38th minute the hosts doubled their advantage. In the second 45 minutes, PAOK improved but not significantly enough, although they did manage to reduce the deficit to 2-1 in the 90th minute with a free-kick strike scored by Tsobanis.
