Operation: Qualification
PAOK’s obvious superiority in the first match against Beitar did not translate into a result and the 0-0 draw has left everything open ahead of the second leg. PAOK and Beitar will settle their differences in Jerusalem next Thursday (03.08) and the squad has already started their preparations, with nothing but qualification on their collective mind.
Saturday’s (29.07) training session was conducted in two groups. The players who were in the starting XI of the first leg contest followed a recovery and rehabilitation program on the pitch, swimming pool and the gym.
The rest of the sqaud started with a warm-up and some rondo, then they worked on the tactical aspects with the coach, and in the finale they played out a mini friendly match.
Joan Sastre’s name is the only one on the injured list. The Spaniard continued with his individual program.
On Sunday (30.07) PAOK will train at 18:45 in Nea Mesimvria.
