Work on tactics
As the days pass by and the game against Beitar Jerusalem approaches, the training sessions focus more and more on the tactics approach for the matches against the Israeli club.
Friday (21.07) was a day for tactics. The players first went through some excercises running with the ball and then played a two-team possession game with «jokers», aiming to break down an organized defence.
Then the players were divided into two groups. While one was working on build-up play with the coach, the other played a high-intensity half-pitch friendly game.
Joan Sastre continued to work individually, while Marios Tsaousis missed training due to an infection.
On Saturday (22.07) PAOK will train at 18:45 in Nea Mesimvria.
