Change of plans
In the morning, everyone woke up in the mood to prepare for a match. Players and coaching staff went to Nea Mesimvria, completed their preparations for the game against NFC Volos at the Panthessaliko Stadium, and as soon as the training session ended they learned that everything had changed.
The Super League announced on Saturday that all Matchday 9 Play Offs matches were postponed, due to an outbreak of coronavirus. And so PAOK players and coaching staff cancalled their appointment at the Makedonia Palace and did not travel to Volos.
Saturday’s (06.05) training session was focused on tactical and set-piece plays, worked on through a series of exercises and games.
Ingi Ingason trained individually, while Joan Sastre , Douglas Augusto, Taison and Nelson Oliveira all received physio treatments.
On Sunday (07.05) PAOK will train at 11:00 in Nea Mesimvria and are on standby to learn when they will take on NFC Volos at the Panthessaliko Stadium.
