Into the final stretch
Three games left of the season finale, two important goals for PAOK. But everything in time. The upcoming game is the only one that concerns the Double-headed Eagle camp at the moment, with the preparation for the battle at the Panthessaliko Stadium against NFC Volos starting on Friday (05.05) in Nea Mesimvria.
Training started with a warm-up, was followed by some possession games, and then some tactical exercises, while in the finale there was also a mini-friendly played out between the players. The players who were in the starting lineup for the match against Panathinaikos at «Leoforos» did some recuperation and rehabilitation work.
Ingi Ingason followed an individual program on the pitch, while Joan Sastre, Taison, Douglas Augusto and Nelson Oliveira all received treatment. The tests done by the Portuguese striker showed that he has suffered a ligament injury. The forward will undergo further treatments in the coming days and his participation in the last two games of the season will be determined by how his body reacts to it.
On Saturday (06.05) PAOK will train at 11:00 in Nea Mesimvria.
