Regrouping for Aris
PAOK are called upon to produce a reaction after the heavy defeat by AEK in Athens. The Double-headed Eagle welcome local rivals Aris to Toumba Stadium and the match offers a first class opportunity to turn the tide. The team’s preparation started on Friday morning (28.04) with training in Nea Mesimvria.
The players who were in the starting lineup against AEK at the OPAP Arena followed a recovery and rehabilitation program, while the rest of the squad warmed up, played some possession games, and in the final part, there was also a mini-friendly clash played out at high intensity.
Douglas Augusto and Taison trained normally with the team, Andre Ricardo and Jasmin Kurtic followed individual training programs, while Ingi Ingason, who limped out of the match against AEK with a calf problem, underwent treatment and will undergo an MRI in the afternoon.
On Saturday (29.04) PAOK will train at 18:00 at Toumba Stadium.
