Under-19s secure four-goal win over Panaitolikos in Agrinio
PAOK’s Under-19 team secured all three points from their away trip to Agrinio on Sunday, defeating Panaitolikos 4-2, with three matches left before the end of the championship. PAOK are one point below league leaders Olympiacos.
PAOK opened the scoring early on, going ahead in the eighth minute via Kalogiros‘ shot. The hosts equalized in the 18th minute, but immediately just one minute later, Smyrlis rifled home a shot from outside the penalty area to make it 2-1 to the visitors. The Double-headed Eagle’s third goal came from a fine individual effort by Koupenos in the 58th minute, while Rumiantsev then made it 4-1 with five minutes to go, taking advantage of Athanasiou’s cross. Panaitolikos reduced the deficit to 4-2 in the 89th minute.
