Gearing up for derby clash
Two days before the return to competitive action, players and coaching staff continued their preparations ahead of the derby battle against AEK in Thessaloniki, and are plotting a way to register a second win in as many games in the 2022-23 Stoiximan Super League Play Offs.
After the necessary warm-up and some rondo, the training session on Friday (31.03) then included work on the tactical approach, and more specifically in build-up play and passing, while in the finale the players contested a mini-friendly clash.
Lefteris Lyratzis trained normally with the squad, while Ivan Nasberg and Jasmin Kurtic worked individually.
The MRI from Tomas Kedziora’s injury showed that he has suffered a left thigh strain. The Polish full-back already began receiving treatment and he is expected to be sidelined for between four to six weeks.
On Saturday (01.04) PAOK will train at the Toumba at 18:00.
