Internationals return as derby prep enters final stretch
PAOK’s internationals are returning from duty, those previously injured are getting back to normal fitness, and the preparation for Sunday’s derby against AEK has entered into the final stretch.
The gusty weather conditions kept the team in central Thessaloniki for another day. The training program was again dedicated to tactics. Initially the players worked split into attackers and defenders, and then they played some games focusing on various areas, which involved ball circulation and build-up play.
Konstantinos Koulierakis and Ingi Ingason joined in the full session, while Ivan Nasberg and Lefteris Lyratzis both worked individually. Unfortunatley Tomas Kedziora withdrew from training with some problems in his left thigh. The Polish full-back will undergo an MRI to determine the extent of the issue.
On Thursday (30.03) PAOK will train at 11:00 in Nea Mesimvria, as long as the weather permits.
