Vote for January’s BOX MVP
February left us with mixed feelings. PAOK played good football, dominated games, but did not get the results that the team wanted, due to both matters on and off the pitch. In any case, it’s time to find the team’s top performer for the past month. Who is your February BOX MVP?
The first in contention is Joan Sastre . The Spaniard has upped his level and is proving proving his worth at every opportunity on the pitch. Non-stop running, endless passion, self-sacrifice, impeccable tactical awareness, and always supporting the attack. Mr Unbreakable has become an important cog in Razvan Lucescu’s team.
There were also excellent performances in February by Konstantinos Koulierakis. The young central defender was brilliant in the derbies with Olympiacos and AEK, contributing significantly to the clean sheets, stopping his opponents in their tracks, while in the battle with the Union he also scored a wonderful headed goal.
Finally, Giannis Konstantelias could not be left out of this conversation. Mr. Breeze continues to have his foot firmly pressed down on the gas and has been grabbing the headlines and attention inside and outside of Greece. An excellent set of displays for another month from him, highlighted by his magical ball-juggling assist against AEK.
