Friendly defeat for PAOK Β
PAOK B slipped to a 2-1 defeat against Almopos Aridaias in a match which was the proverbial game of two halves on Sunday in Souroti.
The Double-headed Eagle lost despite taking an early lead with a goal by Ricardo from an assist by Chatzistravos, who shortly afterwards also had a chance that he should have done better with. In the second 45 minutes, however, the visitors balanced out the game and began to push more forward, while PAOK did not find a way to build on their lead and in the end the home side conceded two goals and lost the match.
The pre-season preparation and friendlies for PAOK are obviously continuing since the the start of the Super League 2 season has been delayed. Next up for the team is a clash with Pierikos next weekend.
PAOK B lineup: Balomenos, Kitsakis, Tsopouroglou, Panagiotou, Morikeli, Ouedraogo, Ninua, Chatzistravos, Bradonic, Ricardo, Spyrakos.
In the second half, Monastirlis, Manolioudis, Koulouris, Smyrlis, Darelas were also introduced.
