PAOK Under-19’s defeated Panathinaikos 2-1 in Sunday’s derby clash with a goal in added time at the death to make it four wins out of four and move to the top of the Super League table.
The Matchday 6 clash was a good spectacle for the neutral in Souroti, with dynamism, passion, some great football and suspense right until the end.
PAOK took the lead in the 18th minute with a goal by Goumas, continued to dominate, and created enough good chances to have been two goals to the good before half-time.
In the second half the game was more balanced, and since the Double-headed Eagle did not take advantage of their opportunities, the home side were punished during a counter attack by the visitors.
