Under-14s set for Croatian challenge
In the heart of August, while their peers are enjoying their usual summer downtime, the 14-year-olds of the PAOK Academy are working hard and taking part in international tournaments.
Last year’s Under-13 and current Under-14 teams are heading to Croatia, specifically for the city of Varazdin, near Zagreb, to participate in the competitive Medimurec Under-14 tournament (August 12, 13 and 14). There will be 16 teams, with PAOK facing Rapid Vienna, Udinese and Osijek in their group.
The PAOK team consists of the following players: Kalpakis, Cholidis, Refatlari, Materas, Manasidis, Metaxas, Aivazoglou, Gersos, Nikolaidis, Argyriou, Lazaridis, Filippiadis, Chaldezos, Souvlatzis, Leon Sznaucner, Chatsidis, Gavanoudis, Tounousidis.
They are accompanied by the coaches Antonis Krinitsas, Anthoula Savvidou, Yiannis Vlachos and Vassilis Mittas.
