Reloaded for the 2022-23 season
The counter has been reset. A month later, PAOK are making a fresh start, but with the same goals. And the hope is that the team will once again have the challenge of an exciting and packed fictures schedule; to play 59 or more games once again.
One month after last season’s final match and one month before the first official competitive match against Levski Sofia in the Europa Conference League, PAOK are preparing for a new season. One of new adventures, refreshed and with new faces, as well as a few old acquaintances. And with Razvan Lucescu.
Nea Mesimvria opened its doors once more to welcome the football players, coaches and officials of PAOK for the first training session of pre-season, and the ball was the major protagonist from the beginning. Gone are the days when clichés like «they were ran into the the ground». You no longer need simply to do laps around the pitch to work out properly. The fast pace of the ball is enough…
Internationals Lyratzis, A. Zivkovic, Kurtic, Talichmanidis, Koutsias and Jaba, who secured extra leave days, were absent from the first training session. Andre Vieirinha continued a special program following his injury suffered in the Greek Cup final.
On Wednesday (22.06) the program includes double training sessions.
