PAOK face Olympiacos in Under-15s final
Fatith and dedication to their game is what characterizes the PAOK Academy, and they are also factors which evoke those pleasent childish feelings of anticipation that builds ahead of a final. And so, PAOK’s Under-15 side face Olympiacos for the Super League trophy. The final of the Under-15 age category Final Four takes place on Wednesday (23.03) at 15:00 at the Panetolikos Stadium in Agrinio.
The two finalists have a very interesting and balanced history in terms of the finals of this age category. They have faced each other in four and share two victories apiece. Just like the overall trophies are shared at Under-15 level. PAOK have won three, and Olympiacos three. PAOK, including today’s final, have participated in seven of the eight finals that have been held, while Olympiacos have made the final six times.
Regarding their meetings in the regular season of the championship, the points were also shared, as on 26.02 PAOK won at home, while they were defeated away from home by Olympiacos on 20.11.
To reach the final, PAOK won first place in the regular season and then beat AEK 3-0 in the semi-finals of the Final Four. Olympiacos finished in second place in the regular season, six points behind PAOK, and beat Panathinaikos 2-0 in the other semi-final.
The team remained in Agrinio and trained at Emileon. The squad is made up of the following players: Beleris, Tsiotas, Vyrsokinos, Kosidis, Mythou, Eleftheriadis, Panos, Tsitsilas, Theofilou, Dunga, Toursounidis, Pourliotopoulos, Bagios, Drigakis, Bataoulas, Vassili, Karakostas, Sidiropoulos, Romanidis, Panagiotidis, Dimopoulos, and Kiriakidis.
