More than football. Goals on the pitch are of little importance in the face of «goals» in real life, and the «victories» that we can achieve over difficult social issues when we all play together.

And PAOK FC does not miss out on the opportunity to stand with children with visual impairments of the «SYZOI» club. This time, within the framework of the UEFA Youth League, PAOK Action have undertaken an immediate initiative, by visiting the club’s facilities and distributing messages of hope and optimism to the «battlers» who give their fight for a life without exclusions every day.

In addition, in a move of great symbolic importance, PAOK FC donated a check worth €500 with the aim of purchasing an electric keyboard for the music department that operates within the club, expressing above all the love and interest in helping to build a better tomorrow, one with equal opportunities for all children.

The gift voucher was handed over by players from PAOK’s Under-19 team, with Vassilis Kitsakis, Argyris Darelas and Thodoris Melenekiotis in attendance and distributing an array of PAOK gifts and plenty of smiles to the children and staff at «SYZOI».

What «SYZOI» do

The Association of Parents of People with Visual Disorders & Additional Disabilities, AKA «SYZOI», is made up of parents and friends of children with visual impairments (partial or total loss of vision), and additional disabilities (mental, autism, neurological disorders, mobility and sensory problems). From 2006 until today, the organisation supports children with disabilities, striving to create all the conditions for a quality way of life, development and education.
