The ECA conference was held on March 8 and 9 in Bilbao, in collaboration with Athletic Bilbao, which was also the host, and was attended by 52 representatives from 36 teams, including top clubs such as Manchester United, Roma , Inter, Lyon, Benfica, Sporting Lisbon, Sevilla, Valencia, and Atletico Madrid. The PAOK Academy was represented by coach George Gourtsas, the academy coordinator in the age categories from Under-6s-7s to Under-12s.

The lectures took place in a conference room inside the state-of-the-art San Mamés Stadium, there was a tour of the training center with the possibility of attending the training sessions of the Under-12 to Under-17 groups, and in addition, after the end of the training, there was an opportunity to exchange views with the coaches of the academy.

The topics of the conference were in the fields of strategy and philosophy, academy organization (the relevant strategic plan was presented by the representative of Hoffenheim), the structure of academies (which was presented by the representative of Lyon), and the transfer of values (presented by Athletic Bilbao).
