PAOK face Atromitos, the club that finished second in Group 1, and of course the only goal is to qualify for the final, which will be held on March 16 (15.00). The other semi-final is between Aris and AEK (13.03 at 12.00). PAOK and Atromitos have met in the past in the semi-finals in the 2015-16 season, when the Double-headed Eagle qualified with a goal by Zisis Chatzistravos and went on to win the trophy.

PAOK finished first in Group 2 with 55 points, with Aris second having collected 42 points. PAOK recorded 18 wins, one draw and two defeats. They scored 68 goals and conceded 16. In the first group, AEK came first with 40 points, and Atromitos were second with 37.

For the Double-headed Eagle, the first five players in terms of minutes of participation were: Pasachidis (1483), Papageorgiou (1448), Filon (1447), Scznauzner (1365) and Kiatos (1172). Vassilis Papageorgiou, born in 2006, made the most appearances (20).

The top scorer is Tzimas with 14 goals, second is Adam with 11, followed by Gitersos with seven, Politakis with six, Vassiliadis and Pasachidis with four, Papageorgiou and Georgiadis with three. Filon, Goumas, Ibrahim and Soupiadis have two goals each and Ignatiou, Deliopoulos, Leka, Kastidis, Vagionas, Ganopoulos, Deligiannis, Varela all have one goal each. It should be noted that the youngest player in the team is Grigoris Politakis (29.05.2006).

In terms of assists, Scznauzner and Vassiliadis have six, Goumas, Tzimas and Ignatiou have five, Papageorgiou has four, Gitersos, Filon and Adam have three, and Georgiadis, Theodosiadis and Skourtis have two. Finally, Kalioglou, Ganopoulos, Deliopoulos, Aliferopoulos, Vagionas, Leka, and Ibrahim have all registered one assist.

It should be noted that Angelidis, Deligiannis, Goumas, Kastidis, Kottas, Georgiadis, Gitersos, and Tzimas have all also appeared for the Under-19 team, as it is also worth emphasizing that Papageorgiou, Scznauzner, Tzimas, Pantikis, Kogenos, Koumenos were all born in 2006.

• PAOK have took part in all but one of the Final Four tournaments, except for the first season in 2008-09. PAOK have reached six finals and won three of them. In 2013 they won the championship in Xanthi, beating Olympiacos 1-0 with a goal by Efthymis Koulouris. In 2016 they won the trophy in Peristeri against Xanthi (2-1) with goals by Tzovaras and Chatzistravos. In 2020, they won it in Lamia, beating Olympiacos 6-5 on penalties.
• In the second group, PAOK have recorded the most victories (18), and have the best attack (68 goals), the best defense (17 goals conceded), and the most goals in a match (PAOK – Volos 8-0 and PAOK – AEL 8- 0). These two victories are also the ones with the highest score in the group. As for most goals in the game, PAOK have had Adam (three goals in PAOK – PAS Giannina), Politakis (three goals in PAOK – Aris) and Tzimas (three goals in PAOK – Volos).
• This is the first time that AEK is participating in the Final Four.
• This is the first time that Olympiacos is not taking part in the Final Four.
• 480 players competed in this year’s Under-17 championship.
• It should be noted that the semi-finals lead directly to a penalty shootout in case of a draw. For the final, however, extra time and a penalty shootout will take place.
• The Final Four will be broadcast live by Novasports Prime, by the WEB TV of novasports.gr, as well as by the novasports channel on YouTube.
• This is the 13th Final Four of the Under-17 age group category. Due to the pandemic, the 2020-21 season event did not take place.
