In the finale of last season, PAOK was the first team in Greece that arranged for fans to be virtual spectators at the ground during the lockdown due to Covid. And now, the enriched “Matchday Experience” returns to the Toumba for the derby against Olympiacos.
Perhaps the main trend in the new era of world football, a game which is trying to anticipate the rapid development of technology and apply it in order to offer new experiences for fans, is the combination of digital and physical presence. The improvement of the experience at stadiums, the provision of more services and the best possible … equation between the fans who are at the ground and those who watch from a distance, virtually.
And because, therefore, the current conditions do not allow for the presence of the people at the grounds, PAOK, in collaboration with IEK Delta 360, gives you the opportunity to express your support to the team and «be» at the stadium. See yourself next to your favorite players, and live during the match digitally through the LED screens of the Toumba, thanks to the Seyu application.
After all, last year’s case study showed that this interactive communication was successful. PAOK broke all the records of the Seyu platform for fan engagement, with more than 3,200 selfies, of which 63% were family or casual photos of PAOK fans watching the games together, while the impact of the action on Social Media exceeded 700,000.
How can you participate and see yourself at the Toumba? The process is very simple. You take a selfie through the Seyu application, select the message you want to send to PAOK, and within six seconds your photo is available to play on the LED screens at the stadium, while at the same time you can download and post it to your Social Media accounts with the special black and white photo frame.
WHAT YOU NEED TO DO TO SEE YOURSELF AT THE TOUMBA
1. Download the application ‘Seyu – Together for victory’ for free or log in via the microsite created by Seyu for the game against Olympiacos here.
2. Log in to the application via Google or Facebook.
4. Choose PAOK as your favorite team from the ones available in the application.
5. Then select the match PAOK – Olympiacos.
6. Take a selfie
7. Select your message and send it to us.
To take the photo, the screen rotation on the mobile phone must be activated. Also, the photos should depict faces, be bright and not include advertising messages.
After the end of the match, you will find all of the photos in a special gallery within the Seyu application.
