Standing beside Pantelis Kyriakidis
Thanks to the dedication of PAOK FC and the constant support from PAOK Football Prints, the Pantelis Kyriakidis charity tournament took place with great success, participation and willingness from everyone who gave their full support.
Shortly before Christmas, for the seventh consecutive year, the PAOK Academy organized the tournament, in which cooperating PAOK academies from all over Greece participated, with kids who enjoyed the game and offered their moral and material support to help Pantelis, who remains in a coma.
The effort of all involved resulted in the collection of a sizeable amount of money, which will be allocated for the needs of Pantelis Kyriakidis and his family.
At the age of just 12, in May 2009, Pantelis, a player from the PAOK Academy, was returning to Thessaloniki with his father after a tournament when they had a tragic road accident. His father was killed, and Pantelis was seriously injured. Pantelis continues to fight a brave and unequal battle for life on a daily basis, remaining in a coma, however, his recovery requires huge sums of money to continue.
