The game started ideally for the Double-headed Eagle with the visitors opening the scoring thanks to an own goal by Kalogeropoulos. Despite mounting pressure from the home side after that, PAOK managed to keep the lead throughout the first half and went into the dressing rooms 1-0 to the good.

In the second half, Olympiacos B continued to push for an equalizer, while PAOK looked hit on the counter attack. The hosts finally got the equalizer that perhaps their strength and intensity warranted in the 65th minute albeit through a lucky goal with Kitsos hitting a shot from a wide position and the ball ricocheted off Talichmanidis‘ body before then finding its way into the back of the net.

Six minutes later, Koulierakis fouled Ba in the penalty area and he dusted himself down to score from the spot to make it 2-1 to the home side. Voilis then wrapped up the points for sure for the hosts in the 85th minute, taking advantage of a defensive lapse by PAOK.

The next match, which will be held on the weeekend of November 13 and 14, PAOK B will host Panserraikos at the Makedonikos stadium.
