The goal rush started very early on in this one-sided game for Petros Tsiapakidis’ side, from only the second minute in fact. began. Vasiliadis played in Pasachidis who make it 1-0 with a header. A minute later, Tzimas intercepted possession and fired home to make it 2-0, and in the 10th minute Tzimas then turned provider for Adam to score with a side-footed finish. In the 15th minute, after Koumenos hit the woodwork a minute previously, the score became 4-0 when a nice piece of combination play from Vasiliadis, Tzimas, and Adam ending with the latter scoring. The teams went into the dressing rooms at half-time with the score at 5-0, though, as there was another goal for the Double-headed Eagle in the 32nd minute, Filon prodding  the ball home following a corner by Vasiliadis.

The goals kept coming in the second half, with Tzimas making it 6-0 in hte 53rd minute after an assist by Filon, and Tzimas was on target again in the 62nd minute, converting a pass from Ganopoulos this time. Finally, in the 70th minute, Ganopoulos then put the icing on the cake, scoring the eighth goal of the game for PAOK, after an assist from Vagionas. Just to mention that in the 14th minute, PAOK also had a goal with Koupenos.
