Back to base
The pre-season training in the Netherlands went quickly and smoothly, without this meaning, however, that it was not long and arduous for the players. After 14 days and four friendly matches, PAOK returned to their base in Nea Mesimvria and got down to work once more.
The only change in the intensity and logic of training was the long-sleeved black T-shirts that, due to a change in temperature, were replaced by the sleeveless white tops. But not for everyone, because Diego Biseswar returned to the squad after his national team duty with Surinam in the Gold Cup, along with the isothermal winter – summer.
The Artist underwent the standard medical examinations and since he already has three 90-minute matches in competitive matches under his belt, he was immediately integrated into the squad’s full training program. It was a program that included fitness exercises and work in ball movement, with an emphasis on build-up play from the defensive zones and automation.
In terms of news from the treatment room, Ingason, Augusto, and Crespo are continuing their respective recovery programs. On Thursday (29.07) PAOK will train 09:00 in Nea Mesimvria.
