PAOK Action helps to strengthen the Thessaloniki School for the Blind

Some of the proceeds from the online auctions for shirts worn by PAOK players are being donated by the club to cover the heating expenses at the Thessaloniki School for the Blind (KEAT).

Being fully aware of the heating needs of the KEAT for the last year – specifically the boarding school building – PAOK FC, through its humanitarian arm PAOK Action and a collaboration with MatchWornShirt, are donating money from the online auctions of shirts to pay for the replacement of the heating system in the whole building, which can accommodate up to 50 people. It is worth noting that the building hosts people with partial or total vision loss, which belong to high-risk/highly vulnerable groups.

This move, which is expected to provide immediate support to people in need, is the result of a team effort that starts with the players’ collaborations on the pitch and ends with the love of the team’s fans who want to add the shirts to their collections from their favorite players, who of course wear them when they play out on the pitch.

With the love of the fans, both in the matches on the pitch, and in the «matches of life» that PAOK takes part in every day through PAOK Action, we are certain that the final result will always be win-win for everyone.

PAOK FC’s collaboration with MatchWornShirt is an ambitious project that aims to further expand PAOK Action’s charitable work.

The authentic jerseys of players are collected after the games and then auctioned online. The interest of the general public is already high, with many shirts having been bought from USA, Australia, and South Africa!

The money raised from the auctions is used exclusively for the charitable work of PAOK Action at the KEAT.
