PAOK’s potential opponents in the Europa League group stage
Getting into the group stages of a European tournament, whether it is the Champions League or the Europa League, is fast becoming an increasingly difficult task. PAOK has done it, and there’s a number of interesting opponents on the horizon.
At the Toumba on Wednesday, PAOK experienced the bitterness (and unfair) defeat by Krasnodar. Sporting Lisbon, Basel, Copenhagen, Galatasaray, Plzen, and APOEL, meanwhile, were all dumped out of Europe on Thursday night. Milan managed to qualify on penalties against Rio Ave.
And on Friday (02.10) at 14:00, PAOK will discover its opponents in the UEFA Europa League group stage. Paokfc.gr takes a look at all the teams in the draw and those teams that it could potentially come up against.
