PAOK in support of the Thessaloniki Psychiatric Hospital
On Tuesday (19.05) PAOK FC, through it’s PAOK Action humanitarian organisation, paid the Psychiatric Hospital of Thessaloniki a visit to donate hundreds of special protective masks for the doctors, nurses and health professionals who are devoted to working with those suffering from mental illness and addictions.
PAOK is proud to stand beside the medical staff at the hospital who continue to offer their invaluable services and care with safety in mind for themselves, for the patients, and the citizens who visit on a daily basis.
The donation was made through the Workers Union of the Psychiatric Hospital and the masks were received by members of the Board, together with the President of the Workers Union and Deputy Director of the Hospital, Mr. Nikolaos Kritharidis.
Finally, in parallel with this specific donation, the Association of the Friends of the Psychiatric Hospital of Thessaloniki, which has been operating since 1981, received a corresponding amount of protective masks in order to support our fellow human beings who return to society after long-term hospitalizations.
