Away day joy for Under-19’s in Larissa
PAOK’s Under-19 side continued their incredible unbeaten run, coming away from Larissa with a 2-0 win to claim another three-point haul which takes them one step further to retaining their Super League title.
Pablo Garcia and Miroslav Schnauzner’s players dominated proceedings for the entire 90 miniutes in Thessaly, and claimed all three points courtesy of a goal just before half-time and another at the start of the second half.
Gorteziani opened the scoring from Tziolis’ corner after 42 minutes, and three minutes into the second half the roles were reversed with Gorteziani laying on the assist for Tziolis to score and end the game as a contest.
PAOK’s latest win saw them take advantage of Panathinaikos’ home draw with Panetolikos and move four points clear at the top of the table ahead of the Greens.
