2019 belongs to PAOK TV

In the incredibly successful year that was 2019, aside from the Greek double and the unbeaten record, PAOK managed to make huge waves off the pitch, with the club’s continuous growth and development which aims to take Greek football forward. The year of 2019 belongs to PAOK, and naturally, to PAOK TV.

PAOK took a monumental leap of faith and activated the club’s own digital platform as a television provider in order to broadcast all of the team’s home matches. By investing in our own product, developing our own content, and continuing a policy based on extroversion in Greece that had never been seen before, a lot of progress was made.

PAOK made 100% of its own productions. The club produced a movie, staged an unforgettable and highly emotional end of season title celebration, created mini documentaries showing players in their vulnerable moments as well as at their best, as well as broadcast all of the team’s pre-season friendlies and Super League home matches.

Investing in our audiovisual content has brought with it even more growth, with content split into more than two channels: via the PAOK TV platform, through our YouTube channel, and also via our Social Media accounts.

In 2019, via YouTube alone PAOK gained 37,000 new subscribers, climbing to the top of the Greek sports YouTube standings, recorded 592,520 hours of subscriber viewing, and reached a total of 9,000,000 views!
