Under-17’s defeat Lamia
PAOK’s Under-17 returned to winning ways on Sunday with a 2-1 away success at Lamia, a result which keeps them top of the Super League standings with 24 points, ahead of Aris who have 20 points. Next up for Papavasileiou and Taxidis’ team is a match against Volos on November 24.
PAOK opened the scoring after 40 minutes through Babouras after Smyrlis’ clever pass, but Lamia leveled the match one minute after the hour mark. The visitors responded almost immediately, however, by going in front again with 20 minutes left thanks to Koulouris, who was the benefactor of another assist from Smyrlis.
