The match was essentially over as a contest within the first 11 minutes. It only took PAOK until that point to find the net three times and lock-up an easy three-point haul. Lamia failed to respond, and PAOK could have scored more, but the scoreline remained unchanged until the final whistle.

One of the key protagonists was Josip Misic. The Croatian was everywhere once again. He opened the scoring with a speculative long shot, produced a great display of passing, made a lot of interceptions, and generally ran himself ragged.

And so it was no surprise that in the vote for Fans’ Man of the Match, held via paokfc.gr and the PAOK FC Official App, Misic earned 57.36% of the vote to win the title, with Miroslav Stoch in second. Dimitris Limnios, who has earned himself a starting place under Abel Ferreira, was third after another excellent match, producing an assist and scoring his first Super League goal of the season.
