PAOK arrive in the Netherlands and hold first training
The “Double-Headed Eagle” arrived on Monday noon at Apeldoorn, their base for the next 10 days. After settling in their new headquarters, they held their first training in the afternoon.
The players of the “Double-Headed Eagle” held their first session on Dutch soil, got a glimpse of what is in store for them and are eagerly awaiting for Abel Ferreira to come and take the team’s reins on Tuesday 2 July.
There were several new faces on Monday. Dimitris Pelkas, Alexandros Paschalakis, Dimitris Limnios, Ergys Kaçe, Dimitris Chatziisaias, Douglas Augusto and Miroslav Stoch trained for the first time in this preseason, following part of the program. The players went through physical condition drills and also worked on their passing, with a half-pitch training match wrapping up Monday’s session.
