There are times one must make tough decisions. Leaving PAOK is one of them. A sentimental person never finds the right timing, but deep inside knows it’s high time to choose a different path, before ending up hurting others or getting hurt. Unfortunately, it’s time to say “goodbye”.

I spent the best two years of my life at PAOK. We made so many people happy, all of us together. All of us together proved we have the mettle, as individuals and as a team, to overcome all obstacles. All of us together defeated our rivals and their shady tactics.

I feel the need to thank Mr Ιvan Savvidis and his family first of all, for their trust and love for PAOK, Mr Μakis Gagatsis, Mrs Maria Gonchareva and every member of the administration for their cooperation, all the people who worked hard on a daily basis by my side in the training centre for their dedication. Of course I wish to express my gratitude to my fantastic players and to everyone of our fans for their huge support, their loyalty and their faith in the team, even in the most dire situations.

I leave with the conviction that PAOK have the mentality, strength and quality to keep on winning trophies, because they deserve it.

I say “goodbye” expressing my unconditional respect towards a big club and their amazing fans.
