U19s defeated Levadiakos as well
The U19 side of the “Double-Headed Eagle” extended their triumphant streak in the Super League with a 1-0 victory over Levadiakos, despite deserving a much larger victory.
PAOK U19s coaches fielded a line-up with many changes, but the performance of the side remained flawless. Good passing, textbook build-up, demure defending and focus throughout the encounter indicate that the pupils of Pablo García and Mirosław Sznaucner are not taking their foot off the throttle, despite having already secured the league title.
Deep-lying Levadiakos were unable to create any threat in PAOK’s box. At the other side of the pitch though, the home side squandered a host of opportunities and had a shot on woodwork with Voutsas. The latter turned to provider in the 34th minute, teeing up Panidis for the opener.
The scoreline remained unchanged until the final whistle, despite PAOK coming close to a second goal with Panidis, Doumtsis and Gargalatzidis. The U19 squad of the “Double-Headed Eagle” celebrated their 25th victory in 26 encounters!
