PAOK U15s won in Xanthi as well
The U15 side of the “Double-Headed Eagle” remain consistent and effective. They recorded their fourth victory in as many encounters, defeating their toughest rival away from home. PAOK prevailed 2-1 over Xanthi in a hard-fought match. They took the lead, were equalized and then managed to escape Thrace with a significant three-pointer.
The “Double-Headed Eagle” scored the opener in the 43rd minute with Tsikos making the most of Smyrlis’s assist. The home side equalized in the 58th minute, but PAOK reacted and regained their lead twelve minutes later. Rumiantsev teed up Smyrlis who beat Xanthi’s goalkeeper. Both sides had a shot on woodwork.
