Tactics and set pieces before the Anderlecht test
After their morning gym exercises, players worked on their tactics on Thursday evening, ahead of the friendly encounter against RSC Anderlecht.
Players split into two groups and took turns working on tactics and set pieces, with Răzvan Lucescu monitoring their efforts and explaining to them what he wants to see in Friday’s friendly game. The session concluded with a half-pitch training match.
Adelino Vieirinha followed part of the session and then trained on his own. It was deemed preferable to rest him on Friday. He won’t play against RSC Anderlecht, but will train instead. Thibault Moulin and Dorian Lévêque trained apart from their team-mates.
