U17s prevail 3-0 over AEL Larissa
PAOK U17 side sealed the first round of fixtures with a comfortable victory and top spot in the standings. They defeated AEL Larissa 3-0 with a hat-trick by Kimonas Koreas, reached 28 points and are level with Xanthi at the top, the Thrace outfit having a game in hand. The two sides will meet on 13 January 2018 in Xanthi.
The “Double-Headed Eagle” dominated proceedings, carved out many chances and converted them in the second half. Koreas scored the opener at the hour-mark through an assist by Boumpas and was on target five minutes later set up by Sapountzis. In the 76th minute, Koreas completed his hat-trick after collecting Theodoridis’s pass.
