Maurício: Medical report
In the encounter against Asteras Tripolis, Maurício recorded his best performance to date at PAOK, scoring a brace. But he got unlucky, as he walked off the pitch injured.
The Brazilian midfielder injured his knee due to hyperextension. The initial prognosis, right after the game, suggested a joint-follicular lesion of the knee’s posterior surface. The MRI confirmed the prognosis.
Maurício suffered a second-degree lesion of the posterior cruciate ligament, without further intra-articular injury. He will go through conservative treatment, expected to last 4-6 weeks.
