Kozak leads U20s to win over AEL
In a spectacular Super League U20 encounter between PAOK and AEL Larissa, the “Double-Headed Eagle” prevailed 4-2 thanks in large part to Artem Kozak’s hat-trick.
PAOK fired on all cylinders right from the start and took the lead in the 15th minute. Chatzistravos picked Tzovaras on the left and the latter teed up Doumtsis for a close-range finish. In the 28th, former PAOK player Koutoglidis equalized for Larissa. Seven minutes later, Gialamoudis earned a penalty and Kozak converted it to give the “Double-Headed Eagle” the lead once again.
Four minutes into the second half, Kozak made it 3-1 with a powerful long-range shot. There was non-stop action at both ends of the pitch. In the 76th minute, Kozak completed his hat-trick and in the 83rd AEL reduced to 4-2 after a fine combination.
