PΑΟΚ at Offside Festival in Barcelona
PAOK and the movie “90 years PAOK: Nostalgia for the Future”, directed by late Nikolas Triantafyllidis, travel together to Spain, along with Juventus, Zlatan Ibrahimović and the national team of France, for the sake of the renowned Offside Festival.
Offside Festival – Football as a social phenomenon
Offside Festival, the first independent festival of football documentaries in Spain, is already on its fourth year. As organizers say, it allows us to study football as a social phenomenon and a piece of culture.
The festival offers the screening of movies focusing on great football icons and tells stories that enhance the greatness of the most popular sport on the planet.
The festival has been held in other cities as well: in Madrid in 2014 and in Thessaloniki in 2016, enjoying a huge response by audiences.
PAOK at Offside Festival 2017
In this year’s festival, there are several eye-catching productions. Among them, «JUVEΝTUS STORY» that relates the history of the “Old Lady”, «BECOMING ZLATAN» that follows Zlatan Ibrahimović’s first steps in football, while ”LES BLEUS” documents the journey of the national team of France in the last two decades.
There is a strong black-and-white presence in this year’s edition of the festival. The movie “90 years PAOK: Nostalgia for the Future”, directed by Nikolas Triantafyllidis for our club’s 90th anniversary, will be screened on Saturday 25 Μarch in Barcelona, at 16:30, in Cinema Maldà.
