Especially European encounters between youth sides can be very entertaining. That is what PAOK U20s aim for in their match against AFC Ajax for the UEFA Youth League on Wednesday afternoon, in Kaftanzoglio Stadium.

PAOK U20 – AFC Ajax U20 face each other for a place in the last 16 stage of the competition, where teams from Champions League Path and Domestic Champions Path will merge.

In the previous round, PAOK qualified at the expense of Puskás Akadémia Felcsút (1-1 in Hungary and 0-0 in Thessaloniki).

The second leg against AFC Ajax will be held in the club’s auxiliary ground in Amsterdam on 22 November (19:00 CET) and not on 23 November, as initially scheduled.

PAOK U20 squad consists of: Marios Siampanis, Giorgos Muca, Stergios Dodontsakis, Konstantinos Dimitriou, Rafail Gialamoudis, Giorgos Papathanasiou, Tasos Meletidis, Antonis Stathopoulos, Zisis Chatzistravos, Nikolas Mattheou, Giorgos Tzovaras, Konstantinos Chatzidimpas, Artem Kozak, Christos Papadopoulos, Giorgos Noukaris, Sokratis Kyrillidis, Meletios MIskovic, Alexandros Gargalatzidis, Lefteris Lyratzis, Marios Tsaousis.

The players are accompanied by coaches Pablo García and Apostolos Papavasiliou, team manager Kostas Iosifidis, physical condition trainer Kostas Kazanas, goalkeeping coach Vasilis Petropoulos, match analyst Ilias Galanopoulos, team doctor Giannis Ousantzopoulos, physiotherapist Stavros Terzanidis, kit manager Thanasis Variemezis and UEFA contact person Κostas Vourtsis.
