U17s comfortably prevail in Mikra [photos]
PAOK returned to their winning ways, following their stellar performances in Future Talents Cup, and defeated Iraklis 3-0 in Mikra.
The “Double-Headed Eagle” started strongly and finished off the encounter quite early. Gaitanidis scored the opener on a Lyratzis assist in the 15th minute. Twelve minutes later, Gaitanidis came close to a brace, but he was denied by the woodwork. He then turned to provider.
He teed up Gargalatzidis for PAOK’s second goal in the 35th minute and, five minutes later, he served his second assist of the day to Chatzis, who made it 3-0. After the interval the pace dropped and PAOK just held on to their healthy lead.
