Partial decompression
Some players were treated to a surprise on Friday morning, as they coaching staff chose to rest them ahead of Saturday’s friendly encounter.
Panagiotis Glykos, Léo Matos, Marin Leovac, Giorgos Tzavellas, José Ángel Crespo, Gojko Cimirot, Charis Charisis, Yevhen Shakhov, Djalma Campos, Garry Rodrigues and Stefanos Athanasiadis remained in the hotel for decompression and recuperation work. The remaining players went out on the pitch for a technique-oriented program, practicing individual elements and ball passing.
Željko Brkić who has a viral infection remained in the hotel, while Tzavellas and Crespo did recuperation work due to knocks sustained in the encounter against Steaua.
