During the season it’s the fans and the media representatives who get to decide the MVPs. At the end of this marathon season though, the best are voted by their peers, their teammates. Let’s begin with Giorgos Tzavellas who earned the Players’ Player of the Year distinction.
The players of PAOK voted for their best of the season, a procedure that was introduced for the first time. The members of the roster decided for the most valuable player of the season, the best young player and the best goal. It was a simple procedure. They had three choices: the first one got three points, their second got two and their third one point.
Giorgos Tzavellas was voted Players’ Player of the Year for season 2015-16 with 49 points. He described it as the best accolade of his career. Róbert Mak was second with 35 points and Gojko Cimirot got third place with 18 points.
