Giannakis’ story in Toumba Magazine
He never got to walk or talk. He has been looking at the world imprisoned in his body. However his heart, soul and mind are too strong to settle with this unfair fate.
Giannakis is an example of human will. He learned to love and express himself in his own way and is a really special and outstanding member of PAOK family, also thanks to his family’s abnegation.
His unbelievable and moving life story is presented in the third issue of Toumba Magazine, because we all need real heroes like him to inspire us. The way he is inspired by PAOK, his great love.
Toumba Magazine hosted Giannakis at Toumba Stadium, where he attended a training session and met the players – a meeting that charged him with necessary energy as he continues his struggle. He was also given his own 90th-anniversary shirt signed by all the players, to add to the fine collection in his room that looks like a PAOK shrine.
