U17s sealed their presence in the Final Four [photos]
PAOK qualified for the Super League U17 final four, with one round of fixtures still remaining on the calendar. The “Double-Headed Eagle” prevailed 3-2 over Iraklis in Mikra in an entertaining encounter, the pupils of Angelos Zazopoulos and Pablo García displaying character and twice coming from behind.
Iraklis took the lead and PAOK spent an hour searching for an equalizer, but got it with Gargalatzidis. The home side restored their lead, but the “Double-Headed Eagle” leveled again in the 84th minute with a direct free-kicy by Cela. Gargalatzidis netted the winner deep into stoppage time with a back-heeled flick, teed up by Gaitanidis.
