Vladan Ivić’s troops took the initiative from minute one and managed to take the lead in the 6th minute. Deligiannidis broke from the right, teed up Dimitriadis and he scored the opener with the simplest of finishes. PAOK dictated a devastating tempo to the game and extended their lead after 17 minutes of play. Following a corner and a first touch by Kushta, Κtistopoulos headed the ball home.

Three minutes later, Rangelov charged from the left flank, disposed of a rival and at the right time fed the ball to lurking Syrakos for a three-goal lead by the “Double-Headed Eagle”. The black-and-whites would reach the rival box with considerable ease, while Muca was rarely bothered at the other end of the pitch. In the 34th minute, Rangelov made it 4-0 with a powerful shot.

Ivić’s players were less devastating after the interval. However, had they displayed more team spirit, they would have recorded a scandalous scoreline. In the 72nd minute, Dimitriadis scored the most beautiful goal of the encounter. After a flawless combination with Ktistopoulos and Kushta, he found himself opposite Panthrakikos’s goalkeeper and got the better of him with an oustanding lob.

Yet another victory for PAOK U20s, who climbed to the top ahead of Olympiacos, who have two games in hand.
