Berbatov expected back after the international break

He paved the way to victory over Panathinaikos by scoring the opener, but he limped off the pitch a few minutes later due to groin pains.

26.10.2015

Dimitar Berbatov did an MRI on Monday that confirmed a first-degree strain in the right groin. He is expected to return to action in two weeks.

Meaning that he will be sidelined for four upcoming matches: against Panthrakikos (for the Greek Cup), Asteras Tripolis, Krasnodar and Panthrakikos again (for the Super League). According to the team medics, he will be back after the November international break.

A new streak of back-to-back games will begin on 22 November, when PAOK host Panetolikos in Toumba Stadium, with nine matches until Christmas break.
